Position Overview/Responsibilities for the CAD Designer II:
Develop and refine engineering drawings and models for the AbMN C-130 program, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify and rectify design errors, omissions, and deficiencies.
Utilize SOLIDWORKS and other Computer Aided Engineering tools to create comprehensive technical data packages.
Apply knowledge of ASME and Government standards to ensure compliance and quality.
Engage in configuration management and employ industry-standard design principles.
Required Skills for CAD Designer II:
Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
Familiarity with Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) and 3Dxperience (PLM) software.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, including configuration management.
Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Designer, with a DoD background strongly preferred.
